The Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey is seeking expressions of interest for the supply of Emergency Temporary Securing of Premises Services (including Boarding Up and Locksmith Services) to the following agencies ('Collaborative Participants') who may wish to request the provision of services under this Framework at their discretion:— Surrey Police;— Sussex Police;— South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb);— Surrey Fire and Rescue Service (SurreyFRS);— East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS);— West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (WSFRS).The Framework will be awarded to a single supplier to respond to calls from the Collaborative Participants 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (366 days for a leap year) to attend insecure premises (including some sites owned by the Collaborative Participants), which need temporarily securing. The majority of securing will be completed by means of ‘boarding up'. The successful supplier will also be required to provide other methods of securing of premises including the replacement of lock barrels.Owing to the nature of the work required, the successful supplier will need to meet a maximum response time of 60 minutes to arrive at any location within the counties of Surrey and Sussex (East Sussex and West Sussex). In order to achieve this, the successful supplier may wish to subcontract work out to other providers, which is acceptable but must be agreed in advance and tightly managed. All employees and sub-contractors attending an insecure site will need to be vetted by Surrey Police and/or the Collaborative Participants as required.
