222/EML/F/14 Force Measurement System and Calibration WeightsThe University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre"s Factory 2050 initiative at Catcliffe in Rotherham.Scope of Requirement:The provision of a Force Measurement System and Calibration WeightsThe supply of 3 single component force sensors with a single set of calibrated weights.The AMRC Factory 2050 workshop floor will be made up of reconfigurable automated and robotic manufacturing and assembly cells. Some of the research projects will involve the measurement of applied forces for both measurement and control feedback purposes. A set of calibrated weights is required to allow in house calibration.Tender Process and Documentation:This is an open e.u. exercise.
