Conwy County Borough Council recently undertook a procurement exercise for an Occupational Health Service. The Authority would now like to procure additional elements to supplement the core Occupational Health Service and provide a greater opportunity for its employees to access appropriate support services to enable them to maintain good health and remain in work and carry out their duties effectively.We are therefore inviting Quotations for the provision of an Employee Assistance Programme.The Authority would like to provide a full Employee Assistance Programme which is able to offer both practical and emotional support for employees via telephone and face to face counselling for a range of personal and work related issues. The Authority employs approximately 5,500 full and part-time employees engaged across the spectrum of roles including administrative, technical, care and professional duties as well as the more manual based occupations of grounds officers and highway roadworkers.The anticipated start date of the contract is June 2011. The Contract is for 2 years with an option to extend.
