We require the Design, Development and Delivery of Employment Tribunal Skills and Discrimination Law Training Courses (2 Lots) - Lot 1 - Distance Learning Training Course and Lot 2 - Face to Face Training Course - in two locations; one in South Wales and one in either Mid or North Wales - NB. Tenderers may bid for one or both Lots. Overview of requirements: The Commission now seeks to engage the services of a suitably qualified supplier to design and deliver training courses (Lot1 and Lot 2) to a targeted audience of first tier advisors (such as trade union representatives, Citizens Advice Bureaux advisers and other advice providers within the voluntary sector) in order to increase the capacity and knowledge base in the specified topics to the advice sector in Wales. Each of the proposed courses should provide the course participants with an accredited course of study that delivers increased knowledge, practical skills and a basic understanding of unlawful discrimination in relation to Age, Gender, Disability, Race, Religion or Belief, Sexual Orientation, Civil Partnership, Pregnancy and Maternity and Transgender in the field of employment. Course Timing :- Courses must be completed by participants before 31 March 2012 . Contract Duration :-The expected contract duration for Lot 1 and Lot 2 is 1 year with the option to extend for a further period of up to 2 years at the discretion of the Commission. Budget:- Indicative funding in total (ie. not per Lot) in Year 1 is £55,000 (including VAT, all fees, costs, expenses, course materials and venue hire). The budgets for Years 2 and 3 have not yet been confirmed but, if approved, they are expected to be less than the Year 1 figure as the course content will already be in place.
