The University of Bedfordshire is seeking to appoint Supplier(s) to provide energy supplies to its estate. The appointment will be made following evaluation of this single stage open tender, which is split into the following two lots.Lot 1 – GasLot 2 – ElectricThe evaluation will be 100 % price.Bidders will price for gas and electric from midnight on 1.11.2014. Responses will quote P/P Kwh for 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months and 48 month contracts for both Gas and Electric. A pricing spreadsheet is included which must be submitted with your tender return.All bidders will be asked to provide per site unit rates and a break down of fixed charges.All Electricty supplies quoted for must be from Renewable Sources and/or on a green tariff which is subject to LECs i.e. is from a Climate Change Levy exempt renewable supply. This means that there will be no Levy Charge (CCL) on any Electricty bill for the duration of the contract period.Any tender return that is not from a Levy exempt supply i.e. is subject to Climate Change Levy will be an invalid bid and removed from the tender process. This is a mandatory requirement of the tender.
