Enforcement Agents for the recovery of unpaid parking charges.
Descriptions
Medway Council will appoint three (3) Contractors for an Enforcement Agents contract for the recovery of unpaid parking charges. The Contract Term is 2 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years at its discretion subject to satisfactory performance. Each of the Contractors shall provide a comprehensive Enforcement Agent Service (the Service) to the Council and the residents of the Borough. The contract commencement date is 1.5.2017 and subject to the Council exercising its right to extend the Contract Term, will end at midnight on 30.5.2021. The Contractors shall carry out all the functions necessary to provide the Service and to ensure the timely collection and payment of debts and associated fees, at all times, in compliance with: All relevant legislation, including statutes, regulations, Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) circulars and other relevant government circulars; The Council's policies and procedures as may be varied from time to time; Any other policies and procedures which the Authorised Officer deems relevant to the proper delivery of the Services; Specific performance and quality standards, in line with the provisions of the Specification; Service levels between the Contractor and the Council in line with the provisions of the Specification; Any requirements of the Council's internal auditor and/or its external auditor. The Council is unable to guarantee the amount or volume of debtor recovery work that the Contractor will be required to undertake on its behalf.
