The Project requires a specialist organisation to provide an engagement gateway and life skills support via Sports Development (Rugby Union) Work Programme – on behalf of young people aged 15+ who have basic skills deficits and are likely to be disengaged or at risk of disengagement from education, employment or training.It is expected that providers will remain flexible, as far as possible, but be established to engage a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 40 students per 8- week programme, to be run concurrently within each of the boroughs of RCT.RCTCBC will be offering one contract for the delivery of the Engagement and Life Skills via Sports Development (Rugby) for young people across RCT for a total value of £65,000. The contract will run from 12th September 2011 to 31st August 2012.
