Communities First [Bridgend] intends to develop a project which will be delivered as part of the programme in Bridgend, a key part of the Welsh Government’s Tackling Poverty agenda.The purpose of the project will be to provide support to two specific groups of individuals –those aged 16-24 who are not in Education, Employment or Training and those who are economically inactive. The project will help to improve employability skills and support people in work placements. There is an expectation that this project will work in harmony with other aspects of the Communities First programme in Bridgend County Borough Council.Potential organisations are invited to complete the questions below and return them, via email, to Frank Callus, Cluster Manager frank.callus@bridgend.gov.uk by 12 Noon on Thursday 12th September 2013.On the basis of this return, those organisations that have the capability and capacity to deliver the project will be invited to an engagement session on Wednesday 18th September, 2013 at the Civic Offices, Bridgend. Organisations will be informed no later than Friday 13th September if a slot is available for them.There will be a maximum of 6 one hour slots available.1.Provide a brief history of your organisation in no more than 500 words.2.If you have experience in the delivery and monitoring of Welsh Government funding briefly detail in no more than 500 words.3.Provide a brief description of up to 3 relevant projects you have successfully delivered that show experience that is relevant to the requirement.
