Descriptions
The Bus Services Division seek to procure a 3 year consultancy agreement with a provider with engineering compliance experience. The key elements to the agreement are as follows: •Access to a subscription service designed to keep our operation up to date with the latest transport laws and regulations. Potentially this could include but is not limited to a dedicated website containing useful tools and resources, email service and free telephone access to support. •Due diligence (confidence and assurance) checks. An annual programme of checks on our partner operators who operate supported and deminimis services on behalf of merseytravel. This will consist of : 1.Undertake operator licence compliance audits 2.Physically inspect a sample of vehicles (10% of fleet or minimum of 4 fleet vehicles) operated from the chosen depot by the operator and used on Merseytravel services for the purpose of tendered and deminimis work. 3.In addition on the selected vehicle sample to check and report on CCTV functionality, destination displays are working and confirm age of vehicles tyres are below 10 years of age.
