The work to be carried out on the A470 is to provide a safer approach by utilising proposed signing and lining to the six roundabouts from both directions starting at the A55 black cat junction to The Links Hotel at the centre of Llandudno, incorporating the following roundabout approaches:•A55 Black Cat•Narrow Lane•Marl Lane•Gloddaeth Lane•Queens Road•Conway Road/Links HotelAll sites are within the boundary of Conwy County Borough Council.The proposed work to be carried out as part of the scheme, is to provide advanced warning for road users, ensuring that they are able to reduce their speed and anticipate the oncoming traffic on the roundabouts.The work will involve installing High friction surfacing (HFS) at the point of slowing down for an average of 50m at each approach unless otherwise stated in the drawings, in buff, and, as a sequence of rumble strips which are four sets of ten strips with one missing to form a space.
