Request for Tenders for a Design Consultant to prepare a non-statutory Ennistymon Town Enhancement Strategy.The objective is to prepare a Feasibility Study for Blakes and Linnanes and a streetscape enhancement strategy for Ennistymon which will be used to inform future improvement works in the area. The final agreed strategy will form the basis for a future Planning application and funding applications (as required to secure implementation). The Ennistymon Enhancement Strategy will identify opportunities for enhanced public usage of the natural assets in the area and ensure that the land-based amenities are safe, attractive and capitalise upon the potential of the area. The Design Team, which will comprise a multi-disciplinary team, led by an Urban design Consultant will provide all necessary consultancy design services such as Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Architectural Conservation, Ecology, tourism consultant or any other consultancy services necessary for the performance of the services described in these tender documents.The enhancement of Ennistymon will respect the distinctive historic character of the town and be cognisant of the designation of the town centre as an Architectural Conservation Area.Improvements will be identified, including phasing options for implementation, and will inform future planning applications and funding applications for the delivery of proposals.
