The Welsh Government seeks to appoint an operational partner to:act in an expert advisory capacity and represent the Welsh Government to deliver EUVET tools activity; act as the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) National Coordination Point for Wales, provide advice to the Welsh Government in relation to EQF and development of policy in line with Validation of Informal and Non-Formal Learning, represent the Welsh Government at EQF Advisory Group meetings and undertake EQF project work, as required;act as the European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) National Coordination Point for Wales, provide advice to the Welsh Government in relation to EQAVET, raise awareness within the EQAVET quality network, including ReferNet and Cedefop activity and undertake EQAVET project work as required;act as the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET) National Coordination Point, provide advice to the Welsh Government in relation to ECVET and undertake ECVET project work, as required;report to the Welsh Government on EUVET activity, including the Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications Directive and others, as appropriate;coordinate the Wales National Coordination Point Steering Group and Secretariat;co-ordinate activity relating to preparation for re-referencing the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW) to the EQF, including coordinating the 2018/19 EQF Work Programme bid on behalf of the UK National Coordination Points;undertake associated work such as attending relevant meetings across Europe, as required, analysing papers, writing reports, reviewing reports for the purpose of drawing out the key ramifications for Wales, disseminating information on the EUVET tools to stakeholders, liaising with key agencies and other UK administrations, maintaining the Skills for Europe website content and completing restricted calls from Europe for additional funding, as appropriate.
