Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council (“the Council”) wishes to engage consultants to lead on the preparation of a joint Merthyr Tydfil/Rhondda Cynon Taf Rural Local Development Strategy (“LDS”) for the 2014-2020 Rural Development Plan for Wales (“RDP”).The existing RDP programme 2007-2013 is currently lead by the The Rural Action Merthyr (“RAM”) partnership, and an evaluation of the Axis 3 & 4 projects is also required in order to inform the development of the LDS for the 2014-2020 Rural Development Plan.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=13035.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
