This purchase will entail obtaining 24 different highly specialist exotic antivenoms from national and international Suppliers. There are 11 different suppliers, each of whom supplies a very small volume of antivenoms. PHE will communicate with suppliers and place orders following an exchange of e-mails with the supplier to confirm price per dose, shelf life and delivery timescales. , The UK hub sites based across the country are required to hold specified minimum volume on likely treatment dosage. This will allows delivery to be made within 5 hours (best endeavours) from when the request is received to any hospital location within the UK.
