Natural Resources Wales (NRW) require the provision of a quality assurance scheme that will help ensure the quality of our Chironomid Pupal Exuvial Technique (CPET) sample analysis. This will require the provision of 4 ring tests, each consisting of 3 duplicate vials of 10 chironomid pupal exuviae of different taxa, reviewing and reporting on the results submitted by each of the 3 NRW CPET analysts. N.B. the specimens provided should not include those species that have been included in previous ring tests (a list of these can be provided, if required, to the successful provider. Material to use in the ring tests will need to be collected and appropriately prepared.
