Richmond CCG and London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (LBRuT) would like to invite Expressions of Interest from all suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver an Outcome Based Contract for Mental Health Services in Richmond Borough commencing April 2017.Adult Mental Health and Social Care services (MH) are currently provided through a range of contracts by a number of providers. Richmond CCG and Council wish to support the transformation of adult Mental Health and Social Care services through the letting of a single host Outcomes Based Commissioning Contract (OBC). The new (OBC) contract will follow a new commissioning and payment approach which has been developed to promote and improve service delivery outcomes for our patients. The aims of this new approach are described more fully below. This approach has been designed to support a more integrated and innovative approach to the delivery of adult Mental Health and Social Care services. Health and Social Care services are both intrinsic in supporting people with mental health needs to live well and support recovery. As such the CCG and Richmond Council (together the 'Commissioners') will act as co-commissioners in developing the OBC approach for MH.
