NHS PS is committed to driving efficiency and value for money, and key to this is developing a thorough understanding of the costs of running its 3 000 000 000 GBP estate.Developing sound information on our inheritance has been and continues to be, a focus for the company, and there is now scope to take this a step further by testing itself against internationally renowned property benchmarks.This approach will enable NHS PS to:— Demonstrate a firm grasp of the portfolio and drive down costs;— Generate information and intelligence to inform our investment and disposal strategies;— Evaluate and compare the performance of its portfolio, helping to quickly identify improvement opportunities;— Develop a comprehensive and auditable track record of performance improvements;— Recognise savings by understanding the efficiencies available at building level;— Better understand portfolio operational efficiency, cost control and sustainability; and;— Position the NHS portfolio as a genuine commercial entity, and an attractive entity for existing and possible future strategic partners.This Service is to be split into three (3) options with Potential Suppliers able to bid for one or more of these.The three (3) options are as follows:1. Provision of or access to Investor Data.2. Provision of or access to Occupier Data.3. Provision of Data Analysis and report on outcomes.
