Descriptions
•To provide new decorative coatings and carry out cyclical repairs to building components and property assets to extend their life cycle.•To bring the property up to current standards and compliance with Welsh Housing Quality Standards and The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1995 compliance.•To extend the life of the building components for at least another 5 years or the life of the new product/component.•Provide cyclical decorative coatings and repairs to previously painted surfaces, including existing timber, fencing, gates, masonry, external render and masonry coatings and internal communal areas.•To improve the appearance of the housing stock and tenant/leaseholder satisfaction.•Contractors should be able to demonstrate how they can make a contribution to the local economy and support Community Involvement.•There is a possibility these works may interface with other internal improvement works. The programme will have to be carefully prepared in consultation with other teams, Project Managers and appointed contractor and sub-contractors, including Torfaen Communities First.
