Conwy County Borough Council seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced building / painting / decorating contracting company to carry out the works, which briefly comprise external painting / decoration and associated building repair works at Cerrigydrudion and Llangwm Primary Schools.Interested companies must satisfy ALL the following requirements:1. The company will be required to satisfy criteria relating to economic and financial status.2. Contractors will be required to hold the following limits of insurance:Employers Liability Insurance - Indemnity limit minimum £10,000,000Public Liability Insurance - Indemnity limit minimum £5,000,0003. Carry out all works and responsibilities utilising directly employed labour, excepting specialist work.4. Have successfully carried out works of a similar nature in the last 5 years, including for a local, health and/or government authority.5. Have sufficient capacity and resources to undertake and complete the works within the required timescale of 22nd July to 30th August (school summer holiday closedown period).6. Demonstrate competence to the satisfaction of the Employer.The contract will be awarded on the lowest price and assessment of competence.Full details can be found in the tender pack.
