External Wall Insulation Training & Qualification delivery in Wales

ConstructionSkills, the Sector Skills Council for the construction industry, is working to pilot the delivery of training and assessment to support the achievement of the Insulation and Building Treatments NVQ2 (Solid Wall Route) as part of a collaborative Sector Priorities Fund (SPF) project relating to low carbon skills in Wales.This pilot project will influence and inform future Welsh Assembly Government policy and supply side delivery for construction training in Wales that supports the Welsh Assembly Government’s drive for carbon reduction in the built environment.We therefore wish to establish a network of suppliers for External Wall Insulation Training and Qualification delivery in Wales as detailed in the lots below;Lot 1 – EWI Training and Assessment Programme, North Wales (20)Lot 2 – EWI Training and Assessment Programme, West Wales (20)Lot 3 – EWI Training and Assessment Programme, South Wales (20)The time constraints of the project are such tghat the pilot training and assessment will need to be complete by the 9th December 2011.
