Extra Care: Care and Support at Two Schemes in the Bradford District - Market Engagement

City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council wishes to inform and engage providers who have experience in the delivery of Extra Care Services of its plans to commission care and support provision at two of the District’s Extra Care schemes. We are looking for organisations that can demonstrate • Experience in delivering care and support in an Extra Care scheme • Person-centred approaches that promote independence and wellbeing and choice, in line with the District's ‘Happy, Healthy and at Home’ vision • Innovative care models tailored to the evolving needs of older adults and vulnerable individuals The Council will be aiming to launch this tender in September 2025 with an estimated date of implementation of the new contract in April 2025 and July 2025 The People Commissioning Team will be holding meetings to discuss our proposed approach to the recommission and procurement on: • Tuesday 19th August 1pm-2.30pm • Thursday 21st August 10am -11.30am These meetings will be held via Microsoft Teams. To ensure that you will be included in the meetings please send an email with your choice of date to CommissioningInbox@bradford.gov.uk and we will confirm your attendance and send the MS Teams link for the event. We welcome provider feedback at the events. If you have any questions that you would like answering during these meetings, you can send them in advance by emailing the address above . All information presented and discussed at the events will be captured and published on Yortender for any providers unable to attend. *Suppliers please note: This process is conducted in line with the new Procurement Act.
