WCBC is inviting potential providers to a virtual market engagement event, in relation to the forthcoming procurement for the provision of Families First Community Hubs.The virtual market engagement events will take place on Monday 1st November from 3 – 4.30 pm and Wednesday 3rd November – 11am – 12.30.We are looking to providers who can offer a local hub where families can access integrated community health, social care and third sector services in a welcoming and safe environment. Potential providers will need to understand the community in which they are operating, to engage proactively with local residents and to link with other hubs and providers to offer excellent information and advice.This event will provide an opportunity for potential providers to get information about the council’s commissioning intentions and forthcoming procurement, to ask questions, to meet other providers with whom they may wish to collaborate and to share insight and good ideas to help inform the procurement exercise.It is anticipated that the contracts for the Families First Community Hubs will start in March 2022 and the duration of the contract will be for three years, with the option to extend for a period of up to 2 years; dependent on annual confirmation of WG funding.
