Family Group meetings are to be held for all families whose children’s names have been added to the Child Protection Register (including where there has been a pre-birth conference that has made the decision that the child’s name be added to the CPR at birth), families in the pre proceedings process, families where there is a high risk of abuse, neglect or family breakdown and the possibility that a child/children will become looked after. FG meetings will also be used to aid the reunification of children and young people who are looked after, with their families.A successful contractor will also provide therapeutic interventions for children, young people and their families/carers and provide consultation, training and guidance to staff in the Supporting Change Team which encompasses both FG meetings and Multi Systemic Therapy.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
