GVS is looking to procure a suitable consultant / company to conduct a Feasibility Study on both the Barry Community Enterprise Centre and the Western Vale Integrated Children’s Centre, Llantwit Major, to assess the condition of both properties so that GVS can make an informed decision regarding a Community Asset Transfer from the Vale of Glamorgan Council. The work will include:-i.to undertake mechanical and physical condition surveysii.produce phased plans for possible alternative use and development of the buildingsiii.assess current and future needs of GVS, its membership and the wider Third Sector in relation to the buildingsiv.produce recommendations for funding sources to enable developmentv.assess whether a Community Asset Transfer for either building will be an asset or a liability.
