Scottish Water is considering options for replacing its current field service platform which is used by its field workers to undertake customer and asset related work. Field workers access the solution via ruggedized laptops with the following specification:— Field Service Agent,— Operating Systems: Windows 7 Enterprise,— Hardware Systems: Panasonic CF-19, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3340 M, CPU @ 2.70 GHz 4 GB RAM,— Browsers: Internet Explorer(currently IE9),— Mobile Apps: N/A,— Input device,— Screen Resolution: 1366 x 768.They require access to job information, job lists and time sheet systems.Any solution will need to provide standard integration to a range of 3rd party products (typically classed by Gartner as Leaders):— Customer Relationship Management,— Asset Management, and— Scheduling.It is expected that the selected provider will have a track record of successfully delivering field service solutions to other UK based utility organisations.At this time, we are looking to assess the functional capabilities of potential solutions with a view to purchasing an application.
