Bristol City Council is seeking to contract out the delivery of a programme of high quality business development services - the Enterprise Support Service (ESS) - which is a key part of the Filwood Green Business Park Initiative. The ESS will support the development of new, young and maturing businesses and social enterprises in and around Filwood Green Business Park, and facilitate their ability to acquire workspace and use the centre's services. The Council classifies this Contract as a Contract in respect of Part B Services. As such, the Council does not need to advertise this Contract in the Official Journal. However, this Contract is to be awarded adopting the spirit of the Public Procurement Regime. This notice is issued so as to increase competition and so that the procurement process is conducted in an open and fair manner. The submission of this notice is not an indication that the Council considers the Contract to be for Part A Services and accordingly the Council shall not be restricted to those regulations which are exclusively applicable to Part A Services, or adhere to all the provisions applicable to Contracts for Part A Services.
