Fire Alarm and Fire Equipment Maintenance.

Translink wish to employ a competent contractor, who must be qualified to work on Notifier Fire Alarm Systems, to carry out the inspection, testing and servicing of Notifier fire alarm systems in addition to a small number of Scotchshield systems as identified Appendix A at selected Translink locations. The aim of the contract is to provide a programme of works for the monitoring and maintenance of these fire alarm systems at selected Translink locations. All works are to be done in accordance with BS5839-1:2013 Fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings — Part 1: Code of practice for design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of systems in non-domestic premises as well as all other relevant legislation.The contractor will be required to undertake repairs should an issue develop on site at any other time. A service call would be required which would be charged in addition to the planned preventative maintenance contract.
