The Cornwall College Group is looking to appoint a suitably qualified supplier(s) for the supply and installation of fire doors at its residential accommodation at Duchy College Stoke Climsland and Bicton College (4 LOTs). For all lots we would require- o Prices per door set for supply as per the specified door schedule in Appendix 5 to include finishes as selected by Cornwall College (e.g. painted/veneer), door furniture (euro-profile sash locks with thumb turn (where applicable), push plate, D handle, kick plates (two, one each side), overhead door closer, three 100mm stainless steel hinges and signage ('turn to open' for thumb turn and 'fire door keep clear'), rebated intumescent seals and certification. Doors to rooms will be solid (e.g. no windows) and doors in corridors and to communal areas will be door design 16G. All doors must be FD60S fire rated. o Prices per door set for installation as per the specified door schedule to include decoration, making good, installation of door furniture (where relevant), certification, disposal of the old door set and return for adjustments. o All installation contractors must have a site base within a minimum of two hours travelling distance from the Bicton College site (East Budleigh, Budleigh Salterton EX9 7BH) or Duchy Stoke Climsland site (Stoke Climsland, Callington PL17 8PB). o Contract as a call-off arrangement over five years so fire doors within blocks or areas can be replaced in stages to minimise disruption to the student experience and prioritise the doors most in need of replacement. o The intention is to replace all fire doors over the five-year period. Repairing the existing fire doors would not be cost-effective. o Monthly billing with 30-day terms.
