Swindon Borough Council is looking to appoint a contractor to carry out fire stopping works throughout the Borough of Swindon. The works involve comprehensive fire safety remedial tasks identified following the completion of Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Door surveys, and compartmentation surveys.

The initial contract term will be for three years, commencing on 1st August 2025, with an option to extend for a further two plus two years. The estimated contract spend for the initial three-year term is between £1,350,000 and £1,500,000, and for the full contract term between £3,150,000 and £3,500,000. Full details of the works are provided in the tender documents.

To participate, suppliers must register as a supplier with ProContract at www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk and then register an interest before accessing the tender documents. If suppliers encounter difficulties registering, they should contact the Proactis support team at ProContractSuppliers@proactis.com.

Tender clarifications must be submitted in writing via messaging on the ProContract tender portal by 3rd March 2025, 15:00 UK local time, with responses issued periodically on the portal.

Tender responses are required no later than 10th March 2025, 15:00 UK local time, submitted via the ProContract tender portal at https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk/.

Although this project is advertised on Contracts Finder and other web portals, the Supplying the South West Portal is the only portal that includes all relevant documents required to respond, bearing Project ID: DN762132.

No tender submissions will be considered without the tender documents being fully completed, including attachments, and returned according to the instructions within the tender documents.
