WP12.9 - Bathroom IPS and Sanitaryware Fit-Out Scope of work: OOC HS2 Station Bathroom IPS and Sanitaryware Fit-Out Package (WP12.9) consists of the design, procurement, installation and assurance of Toilet IPS panelling, cubicle partitions, sanitaryware, tiling, furniture, fittings and equipment, to the bathroom facilities in the HS2 Station, the Great Western Main Line Station (GWML) and Shared Accommodation Building (SAB). This includes individual rooms such as accessible toilets, as well as larger customer welfare facilities. The scope of this package includes the following: •Design Development: Prepare the design for construction, manufacture/procurement and installation of Toilet IPS panelling, cubicle partitions, sanitaryware, wall tiling, furniture, fittings and equipment including detailed plans, elevations, general arrangements, and fabrication drawings. These drawings should encompass all necessary interface and connection details, structural elements, ancillary elements and products to meet the prescribed performance requirements. Additionally, the Subcontractor is required to coordination their works within walls and ceilings with the relevant interfacing contractors. The Subcontractors design must take account of the requirements for firestopping measures for movement joints and cavities to meet the prescribed HS2 specifications and design assurance process. •Samples and Mock-Ups: Provide samples, visual mock-ups or benchmarks as deemed necessary, to ensure compliance with design and quality standards. •Material Supply and Installation: Supply all required materials, labour, supervision, plant, access means and equipment for the Bathroom IPS and Sanitaryware Fit-Out, in accordance with the approved design. •Assurance and Certification: Generate and supply comprehensive assurance documentation for all installations, including certifications from accredited installers. This shall also include the testing and commissioning under a temporary or permanent power state for powered appliances such as hand dryers, sensor activated sanitaryware and equipment. This documentation should encompass asset labelling, tagging, electrical safety certification and any fire related certification, to ensure compliance with Building Regulations Act (2010). •Coordination: Ensure coordination of IPS panelling and bathroom installations with various Subcontractors, MEPH and flooring installations with the HS2 OOC appointed MEPH and flooring and ceiling contractors. The following optional scope of works may be applied to this package, depending on supply chain capabilities: •Staff accommodation kitchen fit-out. •Staff lounge fit-out. •Wall tiling.
