NPT Homes Limited is a newly established registered social landlord which has been set up to accept the intended transfer of ownership and management of 9 300 properties in the Neath Port Talbot borough from Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council (the Council). Following the stock transfer (which is anticipated to take place in February 2011), it is intended that NPT Homes will procure the Contractual Services of UPVC window and Door Installers for use in its window replacement works at various properties. Interested organisations should note that the contract will not be awarded if the intended transfer does not take place.NPT Homes are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and highly experienced Contractors to support the proposed major works programme. Interested organisations should have a strong track record of delivering best practice on similar contracts and be able to work pro-actively with NPT Homes to assist in delivering its social and environmental agenda within the communities in which it will operate.The contract will comprise the installation of UPVC windows and doors manufactured by its in-house workshops.NPT Homes is seeking to appoint Contractors for a two (2) year contract with an option to extend for a further two (2) years at NPT Homes' sole option. The successful Contractor will be tasked with working with NPT Homes (which may be NPT Homes' Direct Labour Organisation) employed to manufacture the windows , small and medium enterprises and all of NPT Homes' stakeholders to deliver a best value, high quality works programme.
