Flintshire County Council is seeking to modernise the delivery of disability support services in the community. This includes; support for people to access information, community groups, transport and technology. Services have been reviewed and redesigned with a vision that is underpinned by the Social Services and Well Being Act (Wales) 2014. This will enable people to develop their potential and promote independence, choice and control in the community. Flintshire is now seeking innovative partners to deliver these services under a commissioned contract.This is an exciting opportunity for providers of disability support services to work in partnership with the Council to deliver innovative services across Flintshire.Flintshire County Council would like to invite providers with proven experience in the delivery of innovative support services in the community, to an event to discuss these plans. The event will be led by Flintshire Social Services with support from other key stakeholders, to provide information and support to organisations or consortia to assist with prospective contract bids.Event Date: Tuesday 13th March 2018 – 14:00 to 16:00Event Venue: Alyn and Deeside Room, County Hall, Mold, CH7 6NW
