The Council is seeking to modernise its LD day and work services. Following an extensive service review and early market engagement the Council now seeks an innovative and progressive partner to deliver and transform those services.The Council currently provides day services / work opportunities for more than 150 adults. The service delivers high quality respite care using 3 integrated models: a day centre for people with multiple & complex needs; 6 SMEs offering supported work opportunities & skills development; and a supported job placement & coaching service in local businesses.The service supports people to develop their potential and promote independence, choice and control in keeping with the aspirations of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014. The service provides meaningful activities for people with complex support needs, with opportunities for people to access training and development, build social and vocational skills, and increase independence.
