Cadwyn Clwyd Cyfyngedig, on behalf of Flintshire County Council, working in partnership with the Ramblers Association, is seeking to appoint a consultant to transfer the existing 27 walks, currently available in the Flintshire Walks Booklet, into a digital format. The walks can also be viewed on the website, www.discoverflintshire.co.uk The project will be partly funded by the Rural Development Plan 2007-2013 which is financed by the welsh Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.To create a new website with which existing Flintshire websites can link by transforming the current static information into a modern interactive digital mapping system.The site will feature information points, downloadable GPS routes, printable bi-lingual written and photographic route directions, local geo-caches, information on parking and toilet facilities and information on local businesses able to provide services to walkers along the route.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=6029.
