Portsmouth City Council wishes to commission a flexible supported service ('the Service') to support care experienced young people leaving hostels and foster care into their own flats provided from Portsmouth City Council's housing stock. The Service shall provide housing-related and life skills support to care experienced young adults with the aim of developing essential living skills, resilience and increasing independence, to maintain their tenancy themselves. The service will also work with those who are on the waiting list for their flat to develop their independence skills in order that they have a certain level of knowledge and skills prior to moving in to a flat. The purpose of this engagement is to provide details of our service intentions and to ask for your feedback on our requirements. Any information shared could be used to assist drafting the final specification and will help to gauge the volume of interest from potential providers for this service proposal, which will assist the Council with determining the the procurement approach.
