Wrexham CBC, on behalf of a number of North Wales Authorities, are seeking to commission suitably qualified, accredited and experienced consultant to assist in the collection of significant flood risk asset data to support the authorities in the delivery of statutory duties as required by the Flood and Water Management Act (2010). The following elements are essential deliverables for any commission to be successful:-All asset inspections must be carried out and recorded by T98 accredited inspectors who will identify, log, photograph and condition score all “significant” flood risk assets within defined watercourse reach/areas in accordance with the standard T98 requirements.- This will be carried out either independently by the inspector, or jointly with LA staff to guide/mentor/train to ensure future resilience in the ongoing maintenance of the asset register.- All asset inspection data will need to be supplied in a digital format that can be imported into whichever system each individual Authority will use to manage their individual asset registers.- All inspections should be undertaken prior to March 2017.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=57271.
