FOCUS Wales Festival requires a caterer for 3.5 days from 22nd – 25th April 2015.FOCUS Wales requires a caterer to provide food for 500 artists, performers, staff and delegates. Our events run between the following times (approximate):Wednesday 22nd April from 5pm to 12amThursday 23rd April from 10am to 1amFriday 24th April from 10am to 1amSaturday 25th April from 10am to 1amThe Requirements breakdown into two elements:1.Commercial Catering Opportunity – We are offering official and exclusive catering rights to the successful tenderer. Five Thousand people will attend the 2015 event. We are inviting financial offers for this pitch as part of this ITT.2.Artist Catering Solution – Each year catering must be provided for 5-600 performers. As part of this ITT we are looking for an innovative solution to fulfilling this requirement during the festival.We are open to the idea of off-setting the value of the commercial opportunity with the provision of artist catering* and will consider offer on this basis provided they meet the minimum requirements (See Conditions for Participation).*I.e. an in kind offer where artist meals are provided in place of a part of the payment for the pitch.Artist Catering: The caterer is required to provide a minimum of one substantial hot meal per person, per day of the festival. There must be at least one vegetarian, and one standard meal option. Drinks will not be required within the tender, but soft drinks can be sold by the caterer separately.The caterer must be self-contained, as there will not be an indoor venue for this, however we can provide electricity if necessary.The caterer will be advertised by FOCUS Wales as the official festival caterer.
