Descriptions
In order to support its role in monitoring and reporting on Local Authority enforcement activities, Food Standards Scotland procures hosting, support, maintenance and development services for two IT systems; the Scottish Food Sampling Database (‘SFSD’) and the Scottish National Database (‘SND’). These systems provide a national view of Food Law Enforcement Activity in Scotland, through the collation of data relating to inspections, sampling and enforcement activities undertaken at food businesses in all 32 LAs across Scotland.
