This exercise is a request for information as part of a pre-tender market consultation, it does not constitute a formal procurement process. The purpose of this exercise is to assess the capabilities within current markets to delivery this contract. United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory (UKNNL) may choose to contact suppliers as a result of completing this questionnaire, if you wish for us not to contact you, please make this clear on your questionnaire response. Please read the information provided in the attached specification document before responding to this questionnaire. An independent programmer may be required to review software source code written in FORTRAN77. The reviewer will be expected to be up to date with best software development practises as well as the latest security issues with FORTRAN77. This review will cover the following: • Review the code using software such as Sonarqube or other appropriate code analysis software. • Identify any security vulnerabilities in the code and make recommendations to fix these. • Make any recommendations for improving the code. • Recommend best current FORTRAN compilers for future development. • Define the best structures for documenting/tracking the code.
