Framework Agreement for External Environmental Works to properties at various locations.

Descriptions

Newport City Homes is a provider of social housing registered with the Welsh Assembly Government and is seeking expressions of interest for the procurement of multi supplier collaborative Framework Agreement(s) with a number of suitably experienced and properly qualified contractors for works being procured or to be procured during the life of the Framework by Newport City Homes. The works under the Framework(s) will comprise of external environmental work of fencing, gates, paths, pavings, patios, parking spaces, boundary walls, hard and soft landscaping with delivery of works to properties and surrounding areas owned or managed by Newport City Homes (and others as explained below) so as to meet repair obligations, the Welsh Housing Quality Standard and adopted standards or targets by 2012.Additionally, Newport City Homes is seeking to establish the multi supplier collaborative Framework Agreement(s) not only on its behalf and for its own benefit but also on behalf of and for the benefit of any future subsidiary trading companies who may or may not be contracting authorities but will be owned wholly by Newport City Homes in its own right, or owned wholly by Newport City Homes in conjunction with other registered providers of social housing and also on behalf of and for the benefit of other registered providers of social housing and/or local authorities or other public bodies and organisations (and in all cases to include wholly or jointly owned trading subsidiaries) undertaking the same or similar housing activities as Newport City Homes within the area of Greater Gwent and with whom Newport City Homes may during the lifetime of the Framework Agreement(s) enter into agreements for the provision of works within the Framework agreement(s) to those registered providers of social housing and/or bodies and/or local authorities and/or organisations.
