Framework Agreement for Improvement Associates working on Health and Social Care Integration.

Descriptions

HIS is currently in the process of working with key stakeholders to develop the new national Improvement Support function which will focus on the integrated health and social care space as well as being the location of a national improvement offering for NHS Boards. As part of the developing Integrated Improvement Resource (IIR) offer, this framework agreement for Improvement Associates is being commissioned. The purpose of the Improvement Associate framework is to support local and national priorities by providing a flexible, national resource for improvement support. The Improvement Associates will directly contribute to the on-going work of partners in health and social care partnerships and NHS Boards; helping partners achieve the 9 national health and wellbeing outcomes through the delivery of integration and quality improvement across health and social care. The Framework Agreement therefore seeks individuals who have a particular improvement related specialism that have relevance to the Scottish context around health and social care. The Framework also seeks individuals with relevant, recent experience and knowledge of leading change within health and social care contexts. The framework will require Improvement Associates of exceptional quality who align with our philosophy of improvement support. Our aspiration is to select 20-30 Improvement Associates through this selection process who collectively have the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to support improvement activities in all aspects of health and social care in the statutory and Third/independent sectors in all parts of Scotland and across all population and care groups. We anticipate that some Associates will have a broad knowledge and experience of health and social care matters and/or improvement approaches. Equally, others might have more specialised knowledge either of a service/clinical area or a particular important aspect of care or particular improvement skills, knowledge and approaches. The duration of the Framework Agreement will be initially for 1 year, which may be extended for a further period of 12 months, subject to agreement between HIS and those on the framework agreement.Note: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Public Contracts Scotland Web Site at http://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=429370The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
