Descriptions

The Authority wishes to enter into an Agreement with Contractors who are experienced in kitchen refurbishment and internal Improvements/repair (including void properties). This will be in the form of a Framework Agreement as such it is anticipated that in the order of 8 applicants will proceed to tender stage for each Lot depending on the range of returns and scores. These applicants will be determined by the use of a Pre-Qualification Assessment Model.The Lots are as follows: Lot 1 Kitchen refurbishment only. Installation of new kitchens in council houses including associated electrics and plumbing. These will range from one off houses to whole streets and the properties will be occupied. Lot 2 General repairs to void properties prior to re - letting this may include the installation of new kitchens, and all necessary electrical and plumbing work. These properties will not be occupied. Lot 3 Minor structural improvement works, typically renewal of floor slabs, rebuilding of internal walls, partitions and ceilings together with associated electrical and general plumbing work.
