Framework Agreement for the Provision of Trades Contractors.
Descriptions
The purpose of this Framework Agreement is to give the Council a route to employ specialist contractors to carry out reactive repair, maintenance and lower value one-off projects. The Council has its own multi trade in-house maintenance provider therefore this Framework Agreement will only be used where there is no capacity within the Councils in-house resources.The trades required would be:— Electricians,— Joiners,— General Builders,— Plumbers,— Plasterers / Tilers,— Roofers (Built Up Felt Roofing),— Blacksmiths,— Painter / Decorators,— Suspended Ceiling Installers,— Heating Engineers.There are Lots for individual trades groups (as mentioned above) and also a Lot for Multi-Trades should an individual work package require the coordinated use of various trades to enable its completion.Suppliers should be aware that the Council does not guarantee the supplier any continuity or value of work. Package Orders to carry out work packages will be raised by the Council on an ‘as required’ basis.
