The City of Edinburgh Council is committed to getting it right for every child and young person whether they live at home or in an alternative placement. Our priorities include helping with transitions for young people who have complex needs such as learning disabilities, severely challenging behaviour and other issues which lead them to being vulnerable. We are aiming to ensure that they live in a safe and supportive environment, build their independence skills and help them to become effective contributors to society.
