Warrington Borough Council is seeking the provision of a framework for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a range of pv arrays on public, private commercial buildings as well as the potential for ground mounted arrays. Ranging from 50 kWp to 5 MWp. It is the main intention of the framework to deal with large scale arrays and therefore the council is only seeking suppliers who can prove their capacity for dealing with large scale arrays. The requirement will cover a range of differing panels to suit the individual needs of the sites selected.The estimated value of the framework will be GBP 40 000 000, There will be a maximum of five suppliers appointed to the framework.It is the Council's intention to retain ownership of the panels when in situ, while providing the electricity to the grid and also the building occupants.The framework will be subject to further mini-competitions to establish the supplier to individual schemes.
