Descriptions
This Framework covers the Council's requirements for taxi and minibus services. It encompass Home to Care Transport, Home to School and College Transport, Transport for Adults, Looked After Children, People with Additional Needs, other Vulnerable People, Officers of the Council and any other transport requirement as authorised by the Authorised Officer.The contract will be split into 3 Lots as follows:Lot 1 — Fixed term routes;Lot 2 — Short Term Requests, andLot 3 — Emergency Requests.Operators are required to hold appropriate Licenses and Insurances to the satisfaction of the Authorised Officer. Drivers and Passenger Assistants employed under this Framework may be required to undergo Enhanced DBS Checks.
