Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is seeking Tenders from selected providers (hereinafter referred to as “providers”) for a Framework of Providers for Pre Vocational Training and Vocational Training within the areas of Swansea, Ceredigion and the Teifi Valley. Tenderers please note that the Teifi Valley area is a joint partnership Ceredigion CC & Carmarthenshire CC.Pre Vocational Training/ Learning ExperiencesWe are looking for providers who are able to offer a range of courses to help young people to develop their personal independence and prepare them for work. Vocational TrainingWe are looking for providers who are able to offer a range of nationally recognised qualifications ranging from entry level to levels 1, 2 and 3 that can help learners gain skills and develop themselves.Our client group is between the ages of 14-19 and will be NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) or at risk of becoming NEET. This Framework Agreement is a non contractual arrangement whereby the Nominated Supplier offers the Service and/or supply of goods and/or materials at an agreed price for the offer period subject to variations but a contractual relationship between the Nominated Supplier and the Purchaser(s) does not become effective until the Purchaser(s) places an order with the Nominated Supplier for the Service and/or supply of goods and/or materials. This Framework Agreement will not be for any fixed quantity but only for such quantities as the Purchaser(s) may order from time to time. It is anticipated the framework will run from 1st February 2011 until 30th November 2012, with an option to extend for a further 24 months should the project be extended by further funding.Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is the Lead Authority in respect of this Framework.
