This is a VEAT notice of Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council's (BGCBC) intention to award a service contract to Transport for Wales (TfW), to provide expert Project and Commercial Management along with technical advice and programme management to enable the delivery of an additional train service from Ebbw Vale to Newport, in support of the Frequency Enhancements to the existing Ebbw Valley Railway Line.The project is part of the aim to increase train capacity (up to four (4) trains per hour) as set out by Welsh Government in the Wales Transport Strategy 2021.
