The PFI hospital has been constructed on the existing Pembury Hospital site and provides all inpatient accommodation in single rooms making it the first NHS acute hospital of its kind in the UK.The Trust requires prepared food items in the form of bulk frozen only, and a very small amount of plated whole meals.
