Descriptions
Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Authority ("the Authority") has a potential requirement for a Fuel Monitoring System at six of our sites to be used by all the Authority's vehicles, located within the county of Bedfordshire (Headquarters at Kempston, Bedford, Dunstable, Luton, Leighton Buzzard, and Stopsley Community Fire Stations). All fuel transactions are currently recorded manually. The requirement for the Fuel Management System will be: •Installation of Electronic Fuel Capacity Gauges and an Electronic Fuel Monitoring System at each fuelling stations. •The information gathered at each fuelling station will be cloud based and be accessed from PCs at Bedford Fire and Rescue Service Headquarter Workshops for analysis. •The Fuel Monitoring System must provide relevant monitoring information. •The Fuel Monitoring system must be compatible with the existing High/Low level and leak detection alarms. •The system must record the mileage of the vehicle as well as the vehicle registration, time of refuelling, and quantity of fuel dispensed into the vehicle. With the above in mind, the Authority is seeking support from the market in further exploring our requirements and assessing the level of interest and would like to invite suitable qualified Suppliers to express an interest in participating in our market engagement. Suppliers wishing to participate in the market engagement will be sent further information and details and given the opportunity to meet (virtually) the Project Team, and key staff. Demonstrations will take place virtually via Teams during week commencing Monday 15 May 2023. Information gathered through market engagement will inform our Specification. Please email procurement@bedsfire.gov.uk deadline Friday 28 April 2023 17:00 hours to register your interest in participating in the market engagement process. The format arrangements along with confirmed dates will be communicated following confirmation of levels of interest received from the marketplace. The Authority will require a list of attendees (full name and position in the organisation and contact details).
